I use this heater to keep a small bathroom warm in the winter, works very well for this application. The thermostate is great, and it keeps the heater off of the floor

Simple, effective, and elegant
Date:February 16, 2008
Pros: Safe, Quiet
After some research, I purchased this unit for some spot heating in a condominium apartment. Installation was easy (hangs off metal bracket attached to wall with two screws) after getting some BX to tie into a nearby receptacle. Construction (Made in Germany) is a simple, elegant mostly-steel design that sits 1/2" off from the wall (air intake is at the back of the unit.) Thermostat is a simple analog knob, which unfortunately does not come with graduated markings, so you have to "figure out" what position means what temperature.

Works well in my office
Date:October 14, 2007
Pros: Quiet, Heats the Whole Room
I purchased this heater to supplement the heat in my home office. It mounts easily, looks pretty nice and works well keeping the room warm. I especially love the fact that it blows downward to better circulate the warm air around my desk instead of rising to the ceiling.

Good surface mounting electric heater
Date:October 4, 2009
Pros: Quiet, Heats the Whole Room
Needed a surface mounting good quality low profile heater. The curved front fitted the need well. Seems to provide lots of heat and so far it is quiet. Not perfect: there is no light to tell you it is switched on; no temp indications on the thermostatic control; cable management is not ideal - it's direct wired but the cable comes out near the very top which makes wiring it more awkward than necessary. I ended up buying two more.
