The best dishwasher ever.
Date:September 19, 2009
Pros: Cleans Well, Easy To Load
Cons: Long Cycle
I used this dishwasher for 1 year, let my parents borrow it for a year (when I lived in a house with a dishwasher), and have been using it again for the last few months. It cleans better than any built-in dishwasher I've ever used. Even when you don't rinse the dishes, they come out completely clean. It dries well and leaves no residue. When I lived in an area with very hard water, the built-in water softener was great. The manual says to use dishwasher salt which is not available in the US, but kosher salt worked fine.My dishwasher is currently full with:1 medium saucepan1 9 x 13 pan1 mixing bowl8 dinner plates4 small plates2 spatulas8 glasses1 measuring cup2 dessert bowls1 cereal bowllots of utensilsMy only problem with it is that it did not fit on my last sink, so I had to purchase a $5 adaptor [...]. Also, my parent's found it to be too small and had to use it very frequently (they have two teenagers at home). For just me, it is perfect!

Best purchase I've made thus far!
Date:August 29, 2009
Pros: Easy To Load, Energy Efficient, Quiet, Cleans Well, Simple Controls, Attractive Design
I absolutely hate washing dishes by hand and this was the perfect solution for me as a single person with a small kitchen. I didn't want to compromise the cabinets I already have by installing a built in. This is portable and easy to set up and provides extra counter space when not in use. It is extremely quiet, lots of cleaning options, uses little resources like water, but cleans very well. I like the other 2 reviewers am not sure where to get softener salts.

first time portable dw chick
Location:San Francisco, CA
looks nice, not quiet though
Date:August 25, 2008
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy To Load
Cons: Noisy
This portable dishwasher arrived today and I think its pretty great. Nice looking, several wash cycle options, easy to unpack, set up, and get started. One thing I'm still trying to figure out is if I have to do the water softener salts. I wish a sample had come with the washer so I could try the salts out, otherwise, I'm not sure where to get them or if I need them. And like I noted in the title, this washer isn't super quiet but I hardly expected that given the price point. 4 stars.
