Best Uses: Small Kitchen
I was in the market for a larger dishwasher but we have a rancher that has a smaller kitchen. We were not ready to redo the whole kitchen to make room for a large dishwasher and opted for this one. I was amazed at the room it has in it and the stainless interior in wonderful. I still do alot of the pots and pans by hand but it holds alot of plates, cups, bowls, etc. The layout inside is very efficient. I love this machine and highly recommend it to anyone.

Best Uses: Small Kitchen
runs beautifully and was easy to install. Follow the instructions and use liquid dish washing detergent. Use a rinse agent. The installation is painless but you will have to purchase a few items listed in the instructions. This little puppy is worth the cost. Remember, it's an 18" dishwasher, you can't drive a tank in there. Be thoughtful about how you place the dishes, again follow the instructions.

I've put this dishwasher through its paces since installation and find that it is a fine little machine. In addition to our daily dishes I ran loads of glassware and china for a large party plus I've used the heavy cycle for pots and pans and the rapid cycle for a load of lightly soiled dinner dishes. Every cycle works perfectly.
My husband looked in the glassware cupboard and thought I had gone out and purchased all new glasses - that's how clean and sparkly they are!
Our house is only 850 square feet and the dishwasher is so quiet that there's no bothersome noise in the living room or bedrooms.
Although at first I thought it was very small inside, with practice I can get a surprising amount of dishes in, and I love the flexibility of the folding and adjustible racks. It's well-designed and carefully thought out.
My only regret is that I lived in this house for over three years with no dishwasher - I should have bought this one a lot sooner!

Installed this unit by myself having no previous experience. Youtube was a big help, but overall was an easy task to complete. Had it almost a month and cleans the dishes great. Haven't had an issue with drying, but I usually leave them in for a while after the cycle gets done. Would definitely recommend this unit based off of what I have experienced so far.

I own apartments. This size is not only hard to get but very expensive. This is the second one that I bought this year. I still am amazed that it was delivered in such short notice and the price was great. The interior was better than expected and the noise level is very low. The tenants love it. Thank you for this great product.

I'll finish this review after installation but couldn't wait to tell you how much I love the stainless steel interior. It is just the perfect size for me and i will only lose one cupboard.

We bought it for a kitchen remodel of our rental property that had a small kitchen. The kitchen did not have a dishwasher, so when we did the remodel we wanted to put one in. This fits in perfect, allowed more cabinets and looks awesome! When I redo my kitchen I am going to take out the 24" and put in one of these to give me more cabinet space. Just love it.

The Avanti 18" Inch Built-in Dishwasher I ordered arrived quickly, a friend installed it with no problem. The price was substantially less than a famous competitor's :)

I had never used a smaller dishwasher. This fits the space I had available. I read the other reviews before I purchased it and it performs as I hoped it would. It doesn't dry the plastic containers as the reviews I read mentioned. I rinse my dishes and use the short cycle. Delivery was great. I was concerned it would arrive damaged. They do great job of packing it. The control dial is loud when you turn it but that is a small price to pay. I recommend it fully!!!

This is a wonderful dishwasher. It can hold more dishes than I thought it would, it's fairly quiet and my dishes always come out clean.
The only thing I would change is the bottom rack rolls while I'm trying to put dishes in. So I just take the wheels off track while I load.
I would highly recommend this dishwasher and it fit perfectly in our 1925 kitchen without having to remodel.

We recently remodeled our 1927 kitchen and needed a small dish washer to fit in the space. We went with this model because we liked the price and the look. It turns out that it works great too. It fits perfecty in our small kitchen and so far works without any problems. Its inability to dry dishes is our only gripe, but that really isn't that big of a deal as they are basically dry when they come out anyway. When we were almost done with our upgrades, we had a grease fire which destroyed a large portion of our kitchen. We liked the dishwasher so much, we bought it again! Hopefully long term it works as well as it has so far!

I've had my dishwasher 5 years. I LOVE IT. I never get dirty dishes out of it - no matter what they look like going in. I would recommend this dishwasher to anybody needing a smaller one. I don't think I would go back to a larger dishwasher if given opportunity.

Great Product !!! Me and my buddy Mark installed the dishwasher Super Bowl Sunday, took about 2 1/2 hrs, drain, water, electric was a breeze. The unit fit right in a small cupboard space, a little trim, it looks as tho it was made to be there !! The wife loves it, loads it up, lots of room by the way, hits the button, and to the couch with her Bon-Bons !! Really not that much smaller than a full size(24") dishwasher, will work just fine for family get togethers and parties. Was suprised that it doesn`t look out of place in a 300 sq ft kitchen.

I just purchased this dishwashes as I didn't have a lot of space so I was looking for 18". This is a perfect buy! The dishwasher came the next day after the purchase was made online. It looks really nice outside and inside it is stainless steel, the racks are very well positioned; I was able to wash a lot of dishes inside, it is quiet, and runs really nicely. We all like it. And the price was great too. I am very happy with this purchase and would 100% recommend for anyone who is looking for a nice 18" dishwasher.

Purchased this for the "Mancave" kitchenette in our basement. It's quieter than my full sized Kenmore in the kitchen. Easy controls and it gets dishes and pots and pans sperkling clean. I had a Super Bowl party last year and it handled all of the dishes, glasses and serveware with ease. Simple installation and the hookup was a snap to both the water line and the garbage disposal link. Power at 120V simplified things even more. Very impressed with the stainless insides, the upper rack spinner and overall fit and finish. Perfect for the job I ask it to do...clean up after Sunday football games and guest visits etc. Highly recommended.

For the money, (1/2 the Price of comparable) the DW-18 is unbelievable. If this dishwasher lasts as long as others claim it may be the best deal ever. The day after I ordered with 15% discount it went on sale for 20% off. I called and the difference was refunded. Do not hesitate to buy this dishwasher. I was skeptical but, it's installed and operating like a full size unit.
