it's a great dishwasher, although it didn't fit where i wanted it (under my sink) and now have it out on a cart. I could have gotten a rolling one since it is being left out. I do love how it cleans the dishes and don't regret the purchase.

This is a wonderful little dishwasher that cleans big jobs. I even put pots and pans in and they come out nice and clean. When it's running it's so quiet. This dishwasher might be small but works just like the big ones. I only have great things to say about this item.

I have a corner kitchen sink, the dishwasher fits perfectly underneath the sink. It is easy to hook up in a permanent fashion as well. No need to remove the outer casing. Thank you

This is a great little dishwasher. The only two drawbacks for us are that it could not fit under our kitchen cabinets, so we could not use it as a countertop model per se. We put it on a cabinet that we roll back and forth from the sink (when using it) and then to the side of the kitchen. You can't beat the value for the money. It doesn't do the best job of drying the dishes, but we just open the door after it is done and the heated dishes air-dry perfectly. We are happy with our purchase! Unfortunately, it is too big to fit in our RV because we would love to take it with us.

Best Uses: Small Kitchen
I bought this for my small kitchen with very little counter space. Its the perfect size. Fast delivery and easy to set up. Cleans very well, and I do not find it too noisy. I also crack the door to aid in the drying. I find the hose to be of plastic composite, and very stiff. A normal rubber one would be easier to handle and therefore easier to tuck aside. It attaches to my faucet easily, and does not leak. You need to be clever in loading it to fit more in, and it does not take 10" plates well. If only it were 1/2" higher.
Overall I am very pleased with it, and now I don't have that unsightly sink clutter. Plus it saves me so much time. I set aside a pitcher of water to use while the washer is running.

I moved into a small but renovated apartment nine months ago which had everything except for a dishwasher. I never knew these even existed until I was looking for a compact permanent one and stumbled across a counter-top model. The unit cleans really well. I've had it for at least a month now. It is easy to use. The only problem I've had is that my kitchen is so small that the sink is on an angle and I was forced to place the dishwasher right next to it so when I open the dishwasher door (it opens downwards), it gets in my way and it's hard for me to rinse the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. Also I'm about 5'4" and it's a little difficult to put dishes away in the cabinet over the dishwasher when the door is open.
It is sort of loud, especially when it's getting rid of water but that doesn't bother me at all. It's visually appealing and matches the other appliances in my kitchen. It's also a bit small inside but cleans most of my dishes and cuts down on cleaning time by a lot. The dishes dry well when you open the door a crack as others have suggested. My water is really hot though so that may help with drying. The hose is a bit unsightly so I try to tuck it behind the unit -- it always peaks out a bit though. I can't stand the faucet attachment. It sprays water like crazy and it splashes everything. I actually replace it with my normal faucet attachment when I'm not using the dishwasher. This only takes a few seconds.
I finally don't t have dishes in my sink anymore!!! Before I got this, I would hate cleaning a few dishes at a time and so they would pile up before I would do them. This was really a problem for me because I'm usually a very neat and clean person. Anyway, I would definitely buy this again and would recommend it to anyone without a dishwasher -- just make sure you measure correctly and keep in mind the door opens downwards. Also, the unit was delivered in about two days, I believe, which was really really fast. My only regret is that I didn't buy this in March when I moved in. Hope this helps!

I've been living with a really small kitchen for the past 7 years and thought the smallest dishwashers were the type that moved around on casters. I simply didn't have enough room for that in my kitchen. When my wife mentioned that countertop dishwashers actually existed, I immediately started doing some research. After measuring our space limitations I decided this model was the best. I ordered the product on Saturday and had it delivered (standard delivery# and installed by Wednesday - Awesome Speed from Compact Appliance!!
This model is extremely quiet #except when it is eliminating the water into your sink# and we ran 2 large loads through it last night. We were really surprised with how well it cleaned our dishes and it was so hot #on normal setting) that the dishes dried very quickly once we opened the door to let the steam out.
Hopefully we'll continue to have excellent results, but for now I just want to kick myself for not looking into this before. All those wasted hours of washing dishes are gone forever!!!

I decided to get one as my days are filled and hard to always clean dishes. Its better then I thought. Its so easy to use, does a great job. and its small enough to not over fill my super small kitchen. Its perfect for me and my daughter and son. Yes there are dishes I cant fit in, but it cuts down cleaning time to less then half. I usually load in the evening, Open it before I go to bed to let it dry and put away in morning before work. I feel it cleans way better then hand washing. Only big down fall is that once you hook it up your kitchen faucet is in use so you cannot sit there and do the last few dishes that didnt fit... or get a drink of water. But other then that its a life saver for to me!
Best investment. Just got to be creative when loading...

After only a few weeks of use I can say that this counter top dishwasher is easy to operate, and is very quiet, but the interior is smaller than our last one, so taller plates do not fit as well (or at all).
I have not found the most compatible dish soap yet, so dishes are not sparkling clean. I am looking for one that is good for the environment so I can live with the results until I do.
Our last countertop washer by another company only lasted 14 months, so I have higher hopes for this brand (which was more expensive) based on reviews.

Based on my extensive research this is the best product on the market.
It looks good, it does the job.
The only thing I don't like is how noisy it is. In this day and age dishwashers should be whisper quiet.
My parents have regular size dishwasher (from top European maker) and you really cannot hear anything. You have to hug it to check if it's working.
EdgeStar makes noise not only while taking and letting out the water but also during the washing process.
If you don't care about the noise - it is great piece - probably the best on the market.
But if you live in the apartment where you are not supposed to have dishwasher - your landlord will hear it sooner or later.
Another thing - no matter when and how I press the 3-in-1 button the icon on digital display is never visible. So I never know if that function is on or not.
With all those flaws I still love it, and am happy to have it, and I use it when my landlord is not home, but as soon as we get our own place I am buying $1900 whisper quiet machine.
