Really makes a lot of ice!!!!! The water line that is included is not the quality i had hoped...no big deal...bought a copper one. Product rocks.... Really looks nice too.

I struggled for awhile trying to figure out which brand and type to buy. I am very happy with my choice and expect that I will never run out of ice again. The product was everything I expected and more.

Great icemaker

I am very pleased with this product. It was very easy to install, although I did buy a more robust hookup kit and an inline filter. It makes ice quickly and holds it well. Well worth the money if you use a lot of ice.

Got the 1st one which didn't work, called Company and they sent another one right away - they had to charge me for it and then credit me back when I sent the 1st one back since the box had been demolished in our renovation process. 2nd one came and started working right away, have had no problems except making sure to use a brass fitting versus the plastic one sent with the product.

Excellent product except attaching water supply hose to icemaker with fitting provided did not work. Bought normal 1/4" compression fitting and that worked perfectly.
PRODUCT WAS SHIPPED QUICKLY AND WAS WELL PACKAGED.
MY CUSTOMER WAS DELIGHTED WITH THE STYLE AND QUALITY OF THIS ICE MAKER. THE LAW FIRM WHERE IT RESIDES HAD A SIMILAR PRODUCT FROM A DIFFERENT MANUFACTURER PREVIOUSLY THAT WAS A NIGHTMARE.

great unit for the price. Got the 1st one and it didn't work. Company was very good returning the unit and replacing it very quickly. Fit perfect in the spot in my yacht salon where I had an older unit.

We set the ice maker up as a free standing appliance in the laundry room to utilize the sink waterline. It is great when extra ice is needed for parties and when the ice maker in the refrigerator has been used up. The ice cubes are a nice size easy to retrieve when needed (don't stick together). I recommend this unit and the price is reasonable. ILJ

The only draw back is that you have to defrost the ice maker, but it is easy and quick to do. I turned the machine off and in 30 minutes the whole defrost is done. I am happy we bought it!

FITS OUR BEACH NEEDS JUST RIGHT

Our Ice Maker arrived and was hooked up. 35 minutes later we had ice and it just kept on making ice quickly. Perfect to meet our requirements for filling beach coolers, extra drinks etc
I just unpacked it, placed it on the shelf, hooked it up and it started making ice. Very easy installation. The only thing you have to assemble is the handle. The thin ice cube size works well in my blender too. It will require periodic defrosting but for the price, I'm extremely happy.
The ice machine does a great job. I hooked up the water supply, turned it on, and the machine made ice immediately upon reaching the adequate temperature. I have not had any issues since it started running. The water supply line and fitting that came with the unit is poorly made of plastic. The compression fitting should certainly not be plastic.
Great product. Perfect for everyday use. We have an ice maker on our side by side refrigerator that we use daily but it just wasnt enough. The Edge Star Ice Maker was the perfect fix to our problem of needing more ice for coolers each day.
This is the second icemaker that I bought. I have one and now my son has one. The only thing wrong is they both drip on the one end forming an icicle. Everything is level. We install these ourselves with fittings from our local hardware store. As far as ice, these are great to have. We never have to make a trip to the store for ice. If we know in advance that we need ice, we start emptying the bin a few days in advance. We have this standing on a wooden pedestal in the basement.

Very Pleased

This under-cabinet ice maker is a big performer. It replaced a 40 year old well-known brand ice maker for a fraction (1/4th) of the cost. It is very attractive and actually has the identical look of a relatively new bar refrigerator in the same area. The test will be whether it can match the longevity of the originally ice maker brand. Let me be clear, the original ice maker was replaced after 40 years, but that's not without service. The fill valve (an $80 part) had been replaced multiple times over the years.
This unit arrived very quickly and was packed very securely using heavy gauge cardboard. There's was an outer carboard box protecting the inner cardboard box which was isolated and further protected with sturdy foam blocks on all eight corners.
My only criticism is I don't ever recall receiving a product's Owner's Manual without a picture of the product or a drawing of the product with dimensions and a "exploded" view of the parts called out before. Hence the lower "star" rating concerning this area. This would certainly aid in the installation process and any future service calls.
Other than that one suggestion, I would absolutely recommend this fine quality product to anyone looking to replace an existing Uline stand-alone in-cabinet ice make or has a need for such a new ice maker in their home or place of business.
