This icemaker is perfect in size. It is great because we can bring it on our camper with us and it is also great to have at our house. The storage unit is not so big but I make ice and put it in bags. It is a great product.

I bought this little gadget for my RV so I would not have to run to a store to get ice. Within 15 mins I had ice! I was very pleased and it makes a pretty good amount of ice. I don't think you will be disappointed with item. I just love it.

I have an icemaker at my vacation home that actually makes more ice in a day than this one; however, it is very loud and big in size.
This little devil is very quiet and does a good job at making ice consistently. It also holds the ice without melting for a long time.
Would recommend this to anyone who can use an icemaker. it is of the highest quality.

Makes ice fast. By putting the ice in the freezer and shaking the bullet-size "cubes" often they do not stick together and I can then bag them in advance for a big party. I do not see much difference though between the three sizes of ice. Great machine.

Due to high acid levels in our water, we have gone through "several" icemakers, including the ones in the frig. The build-up caused by the acid would eventually destroy the machines, so our only option was to use ice trays or buy ice. For that reason, the EdgeStar Portable is the perfect purchase for us. We use water from other sources and it works out great.
It's a beautiful machine, the price was excellent, delivery was smooth and we can have ice when we want it... what more could you ask?

I've had 2 other ice machines that lasted about 2 years each. Both were so noisy that I had to turn them off at night so as to sleep without being disturbed each time they dumped ice. This machine is much quieter than the others and I do not need to turn it off as it does not disturb my slumbers. I would recommend this machine to anyone looking for a portable ice machine.

If you read the description before you buy,you know exactly what to expect! I intentionally waited several months before I took the time to write this review.My wife eats ice like thier is no tomorrow! This machine keeps up with her consumption and it makes the soft white ice that she likes.We run this machine daily and it does a fantastic job! Just realize that you need to pay attention to when it's full of ice or out of water,simple enough for such a good product.And I definately don't want to forget to say thanks to Compact Appliance these guys are awesome!! Had problems with an open box item and they made it right without a bunch of hassle,I am actully getting ready to make another purchase and they are my first choice vender. Five star product and five star plus company.

Ok..this icemaker is inexpensive to purchase, looks amazing, has a top hatch for retrieving the ice, makes ice fast, & is small in size for easy counter us. I would higly reccomend this to anyone looking for an icemaker. The only real CON would be that the ice is never frozen. It is alway sort of wet which isn't great for putting the cubes in your freezer as you get a huge clump of ice. I think one poster mentioned getting an ice pick and I have to agree with that.

The product has performed very well since I received it about two weeks ago. One recommendation I would make, is to include a hose that could be cut to the proper length for the drain valve. This way it could empty the water into the sink.

I had done a lot of research before purchasing this little gem. Everything I read about it led me to believe this was the one that would fulfill my needs. I have put it through the basic tests, i.e. letting the ice tray fill and letting the water get low so that I could check the indicator lights and see if they work correctly. Everything has functioned the way that I expected it to. I couldn't be happier with a new product than I am with this one. It definitely lives up to its reputation. The ice cubes are a nice size and are made quite rapidly. After running a water/lemon mix though the machine to clean it initially, the ice looks and taste great.

Having guest over? Or coolers to fill for travel? This product is a must have. Very handy to get a surplus of ice for those needed occasions. Just make, bag, and store .Works fast. Sturdy build. Travel alot for job and work out of a 5th wheel, I was tired of having to run to the store to buy ice and the bag took up so much space in my already small freig, I looked at all the other reviews and went with this one. So of the reviews said it was noisy, Not sure what they were talking about, the only noise I hear is when it dumps the ice. Makes the ice quick and in 3 different sizes. Personaly I like the larger size ice. Love this product, and every one that has see mine, wants one.

This ice maker worked great from the start. I would recommend that buyers run the cup of vinegar cleaning immediately. I tried to get rid of taste by running cycle after cycle but the vinegar did the trick. Makes ice amazing fast. Would recommend this highly.

We live in the country and have hard water that has to be filtered to not taste funny and our freezer doesn't have an automatic ice maker. Keeping bagged ice on hand in the freezer just takes up too much space. This product would work well for a small family or traveling. It's a little overwhelmed for gatherings but that's easily fixed by starting ahead of time and/or supplementing bags and storing in a large cooler.
