I just have a small freezer compartment in my refrigerator and hate to take up valuable space with ice trays so purchased the portable ice maker and am very pleased with it. Easy to use. Very quick ice making process as I only need to wait about 10 minutes to have enough ice to put in my glass. Surprised at the amount of ice it can make without having to fill the reservoir. Great buy!

We purchased this ice maker because our local water is loaded with salt and we don't drink it, so the refrigerator ice maker is unusable. It works great and dumps a load of large (bullet-shaped) cubes about every 10 minutes. I couldn't be happier with it.

My wife in Jan 2011 neded to have a "Cold Therapy" machine for a shoulder surgery. I was gong thru about 3 twenty lb bags lbs. of ice per day for the machine to function. I ordered this appliance after about a week,,the unit arrived within four days,,used it for the entire month and a half for her therapy, worked great, it kept up with the amount of ice I needed,,but I did have to occasionally empty the tray for this to occur, didn't have to spend $2.00 ea for bags of ice, and now I use it as a supplement to the icemaker in the fridge. The only complaint I have is that after long continuouos runs, it needs to be shut off,,cleaned and then re-started. The ice gets limited, and smaller cubes, but once cleaned it seems to function again perfectly. Used it all summer,it was shut off for about a month ,,but now is being used again. I bought one as a gift for my brother as he doesn't have an ice maker in his fridge at his lake house, and this will work perfectly,,hopefully.

I bought this after researching portable ice makers on line. Since I purchased it I have used it extensively and have found it to be simply great. It makes ice fast. My only recommendation would be to increase the storage capacity but I can live with this. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

Works as expected. No issues with setup or operation. If you let it set for a long time, the ice will start to melt, albeit, at a very slow pace. This will cause some clumping but the ice breaks up easily for use. Otherwise, just put any large clump in the sink and the maker quickly makes more. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

This is the 2nd icemaker I have had from edgestar. This product is amazing. It is great product at a great price. A lot cheaper than getting a new refrigerator. No plumbing needed to be done. Just set it on the counter, fill with water and turn it on... Wonderful! We loved it so much at home, we bought one for the office as well.

Worked right out of the box and makes great ice cubes, need to put them into a plastic zip lock bag then into the freezer to completely refreeze them. When frozen like the bags from the store just drop them to break them up and place in the freezer for use later.

This is a fairly new purchase for me, but so far it has performed better than I expected. I can make enough ice in one day to provide for our ice needs for the week. I put the extra ice in the freezer to get it extra cold and I also have found that using filtered water helps keep the ice clear. It is pretty slick how it works! It is portable enough to take it with us in our RV if we need extra ice along the way. It is not designed to make large quantities of ice for filling ice chests. I would definitely buy again!

This is the best purchase ever made. It is easy to use, takes up minimal space and keeps the ice going. I would recommend this portable ice maker to anyone. The only small complaint that I would have is that I feel the scoop for the ice should be a little more sturdy. For this being the only complaint it is a very small complaint. It is a great little ice maker and highly recommend it to anyone.
