I like this product however my only complaint is the heater- the energy saver mode does not work for heat so the unit runs continuous when using the heat, the heat strip just turns on and off but the fan runs non-stop when using heat. The a/c unit works nicely and while I have not had a super cold night the heat seems to do the job.

This is perfect for a small room. It heats and cools efficiently and quietly. If you are looking for a small room AC/Heat Unit, this one should be at the top of your list!

I bought this unit for a rental property and my tenant loves it. He hasn't used the heater yet though. The room is right under 15 x 15 if I remember correct.

I live in Oklahoma, where the record breaking heat has been. Even during those 105+ days we had this unit not only cycled (using energy saver), but also maintained a 75 degree temp. It worked so well that the other unit I have was put on energy saver setting, it was able to keep the house a comfortable 78 degrees.

We have our unit installed on our boat for about 3 months now since August. The unit is fairly compact and the installation was mostly straight forward. The unit ran cool in AC mode and warm enough in heating mode, though I still like to turn on another space heater as a supplement on a very cold day. The only thing I can complain about the unit had to do with its water drainage location. The drainage hole is not at the lowest point to drain all the water properly.

I am completly satisfied and WILL be back for more products as the needs arrive.A quick internet search with the brand & model number got me to this site;[...] We needed a replacement unit, and the old unit's housing was cemented into our brick fascia.This unit slipped inside the old case with just minor work to seal around the small extra space. It seems to be working perfectly, and is a big bump up in energy efficiency and features from the old unit.

It's hard to find a great air/heat combo window unit. The installation was easy and the unit runs extremely quiet and has cooled my 13' x 14' bedroom very nicely. I haven't used the heat funtion yet but I have no doubt it will do a great job. It's thermostatically controlled which is also great. Koodos to LG for such a nice product.

Cons: Could have better install
This unit works very well in the area I am using it for. I can see you would not want to try to cool too big an area with this unit but if you stay in the range it is rated for it is an excellent unit. The one big feature is it is very quiet compared to most. Installation does require some thought if other than a window installation. I did a wall installation and had to improvise some.
