For years I have labored with microwaves that have multiple features and a vast array of settings buttons, none of which I used. I wanted a simple and functional design that was intuitive in its operation. This microvave has 2 knobs, one for heat setting, one for time. Pop in the food, give the knob a quick turn, and that's it. It looks great, takes up only a tiny bit of space and works perfectly. Couldn't be happier with it.

I chose this model because other reviewers said it worked well for their elderly relatives. While I have the use of all of my limbs and a strong aptitude for most technological equipment and computers, I can't program a microwave to save my life. If you're like me, and you don't have the patience to figure out how to change a cooking power level on a digital model, look no further - you've found your microwave. Cons: I'm discovering that I might prefer a higher cooking wattage, and I'm slightly irritated about the tendency of the rotating glass plate to come off of its track. These factors are less important to me than my ability to adhere to the directions on the back of my Lean Cuisine frozen entree.

Mom is 83 and could not deal with a push button digital microwave. This model with dial controls is easy to use. She loves it.

This is for my mother, who is in a retirment facility and doesn't need all the button on most microwaves. She finds this so easy.

Bought this microwave after searching everywhere for a dial control as opposed to digital program, as this is for my 90 year old father who has problems seeing and understanding how to use. Unfortunately, they (dial) are next to impossible to find. Doesn't seem manufacturers are thinking of elderly and visually impaired. [...]
