Very simple microwave

Pros: Simple Controls
I searched the entire country to find a simple microwave for my mother who has dementia and has trouble with complex appliances. This one fit the bill pretty well, just turn the dial for on. It was a much tougher search then I might have imagined and lucky this one came up. I taped the power knob over with black tape as so not to confuse her leaving it on 100% and left the timer knob availible so she can handle it. It works fine, is not a bad looking appliance and has fit my need well. For those with disablities this microwave was a god send. In a world of complex electronics this is a very nice alternative.

Cons: Small number and letters
I bought this for my 87 year old grandmother who suffered a stroke recently. She does not speak or read English and was never able to figure out how to use the microwave that she had with buttons.
It's perfect for her because of the knob dial. It's extremely simple to use and great for anyone who is technologically challenged.

used for my 89 old mother who has macular degeneration and is unable to use microwaves with the 'push button' type controls. The dials for power level and times work great for her.
