This little dishwasher is mighty. It may be a little noisy and it may not win any beauty contests, but it does the job it's supposed to do and I feel lucky to have it.
I live in a teeny, tiny apartment, and can barely turn around in my kitchen.
Doing dishes in my tiny sink meant getting soaked. So owning this compact dishwasher is a blessing. I read some of the complaints about this product and am wondering what gives?

It was shipped so quickly, I barely had time to make room for it and it arrived in pristine condition.
I had to leave a big home before I moved into my little doll house.

I hate doing dishes, but not any more. This dishwasher is easy to use, quiet, and best of all gets my dishes clean. It's compact design is perfect for a small kitchen like mine. It's light weight let me put it on a roll around cart so I can store it out of the away. It doesn't dry the dishes well but if you open the door a little after the dry the cycle, dishes finish drying in about 10 minutes.
Love This Dishwasher.

I suffer from several forms of arthrits and spine problems and this dishwasher has been a life saver, er back saver! It's noisy in our small house but that doesn't bother me. My dishes come out nice and clean each and everytime. It holds enough for my husband and I and if we have company, I run it twice! It takes a bit to get used to loading it but after 2-3 times, I've got it down. Fits beautifully on my counter beside my sink but could easily be placed on a cart and rolled over to your sink. Hooking it up and unhooking it is a breeze. Quick and easy! It doesn't always dry things well, but I just open the door and 1/2 hr. later everythings dry! Best $ I ever spent!!!

Best Uses: Small Kitchen
Although it can't accept the larger pots and pans, it is absolutely great for every day dishes. It is especially good for a single guy who doesn't care for hand washing dishes. I didn't have room to install a cabinet model or for a portable floor model. This counter top unit does the job perfectly. It will hold all of my dishes for the entire day. I usually rinse them and load it as I go, washing them all at once at the end of the day. In the evening I just turn it on and forget it till morning. It does a fantastic job, leaving the dishes squeaky clean and shiny. I am thinking about purchasing another one for my summer place in the mountains. This purchase is absolutely one of the smartest I have ever made. Buy it, you won't regret it !

This dishwasher was an answer to a a space problem. It doesn't dry the dishes as well as a full size unit, but I just open the door and let them air dry. Unit is a little noisy but we can deal with it. Very easy to use and a great investment if you don't have room for a full size dishwasher.

I have been waiting for years for this product! I Hate hand washing dishes, they don't really get clean, no matter how hard you try. This dishwasher compares very favorably with full-sized dishwashers I have used in the past, only now I don't have to wait a week before running it. Now I get clean, sanitized and scale-free dishes economically, for a one person kitchen.

I got this dishwasher as a Christmas present, I love it. Just like many people, I hate doing the dishes and with being a full time student, dont really like waisting energy on them when I need to be doing homework. I knew I was getting it, so I saved all my dishes just to test it out. I used it all day yesterday washing dishes, not one problem at all. It is not as noisy as some post said, but growing we had a regular dishwasher, makes the same sound not louder at all. I washed everything from silverware to a stockpot I had in my sink for a couple weeks. Gets everything clean!!! Only problem I have is that my cabinet is low just under 17 inches, so it is sitting on my night stand next to the counter right now. Love it!!!!

Just what I needed

There's no place in my kitchen for a built-in dishwasher, and rolling around a portable is more trouble than it's worth. I had resigned myself to never having a dishwasher until I could afford a full kitchen remodel.
But when I saw this machine for sale, I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. Far from a toy, this is almost as effective as a full-sized machine. I'm single, so the size is just right -- a better fit for my needs than a conventional model.
It gets the dishes just as clean as a conventional dishwasher. My only complaint is that it doesn't dry them very well. They come out pretty wet.
It's a bit noisy, but I simply set it up and put it on delay and let it run while I'm at work.
I'm considering hiring a plumber to connect it permanently so I don't have to put the filler hose on and off the faucet.
I'm more than a little pleased. This is just what I needed.

Great Compact Dishwasher

I bought this dishwasher for my aviary room. I am very pleased with the overall design, size and performance. I would have liked the rack to support smaller items, but I'm still pleased because it works great.
This is my third compact dishwasher in as many months. The previous two had see thru windows that leaked. So I would tell anyone who's in the market for a counter top dishwasher to get this solid one.

My husband and I purchased a mobile home on the coast without a dishwasher. I am a nut about clean dishes and feel that a dishwasher does a much better job than I do with hand washing. I had never heard of a compact dishwasher and just happened upon it on a website. I purchased the Koldfront portable countertop dishwasher and love it! I've been looking at these countertop dishwashers for several years now and never thought I would actually buy one. It wasn't until I got sick and my dishes sat for over a week needing washed, that I even seriously considered buying one. Since it was only me, I thought I could handle even the simplest task...never took into consideration about illness. In my case it was a brief miserable illness that made me sick just looking at the dishes in the sink. I looked at full size dishwashers, built in dishwashers and countertop dishwashers all within that week. I found I did not need either a full size or a built in and had no way of adding a built in to my kitchen anyway. So I took the plunge and bought this one. I also purchased a microwave table to place it on so it would be more portable. Hooking it up was super easy, even though the instructions called for a plumber. The only issue I have is that it does not completely dry the dishes but I have learned to remove them and let them air dry. I am amazed I lived all this time without it. LOL I was confused by the soap dispenser at first but once I got past that, I found the dishwasher packets work great. I bought generic from Dollar General and have no issues with them cleaning the dishes. The only down side I had with getting it out of the box was that it was bulky. It is larger than a microwave and it took the help of a friend to get it off the floor and onto the counter. Once we did lift it, I was amazed it was not heavier than it was. I would recommend one of these to anyone who does not need a full size dishwasher.

I just got this dishwasher today and so far I love it. I ended up ordering a Koldfront because I used to have an old Danby countertop dishwasher that lasted for years and I loved very much but it finally gave up so I got a new one in a very similar model. What a mistake! It arrived already broken and the return process was a joke, it took over a month to get a refund! I looked around online and this dishwasher had the highest ratings so I bought it. So far I love it! The best part? It was at least $100 cheaper than the stupid Danby! I'll update if I begin to have any problems, but with these great reviews, i'm confident that my new friend will be around for years. Thanks Compact Appliance!!!

Follow directions and the wash is great (pre run hot water in the tap!!!!), it,s a little noisier than some undercounter units. Its a lifesaver in a small kitchen that uses sharp knives (I hate finding those :>)

Having grown up with dishwashers it was seeming to eat up all of our free time to hand-wash our dishes. Finally we splurged and ordered this dishwasher. We were very hopeful, but the first couple loads washed very poorly. After trying a few things and reconfiguring the dishes we discovered that certain pieces, if placed in a bad spot, could rest too low and block the spray arm (causing it to just sit in one place and spray--hence its poor performance). Since then we've loved it. It must SAVE US HOURS every day. One minor gripe we have is with the drying--it does not do well. As a solution we have found that opening the dishwasher and rolling the rack out very soon after it finishes the full cycle (including drains) and dabbing up the puddles on top of glasses allows the moisture a place to go--the hot dishes also encourage evaporation when the door is open...
Overall, well worth the investment!

I thought and investigated for 6 months, am I sorry I waited so long! Used it for a week now, what a great product. Still a little big for my minute kitchen, but the counter and sink isn't overloaded with dishes. Don't believe that its very noisy, my neighbors haven't complained,after the second time I used it- I load it and go- so I don't hear it. Does a really good job, even have done a greasy pan or two. Two things I don't like and they are minor-on light stays on until you turn it off and there was supposed to be a hook to hang the hoses on when not in use. I solved that with some velcro tape--so not a big deal. LIFE IS DEFINITELY EASIER, as I hate to wash dishes and procrastinate! Now load immediately.
