I use this as a freezer for when I cook extra meals and also for the raw dog food I purchase. Everything so far stays frozen even though I somewhat lowered the temp to see if it would. I am very pleased with this appliance. I have no doubt it will also be a good refrigerator should I use it as such.

We love our purchase, everyone in the campgrounds want to know where we got it. Some want bigger some like the size of ours. Really like the lite weight for traveling. Couldn't be more pleased with it. This will allow us to have extra ice when we return to Florida. Love not running to the store every 3 days..

Living on a 35' sail boat doesn't offer much refrigeration space and freezer space is almost nill. This little freezer/refer fits in the aft cabin and will hold enough meat for a week or weekend get-away. The ability to go from freezer to frig. is a definite plus. If space were available I'd buy another.

This refrigerator/freezer is perfect for everything. I am using it right now for extra space for storage of frozen foods. In addition, since it doubles as a refrigerator, I plan on using it in that mode at higher than normal refrigerator temps (55 F) as a controlled environment for curing my home made cheese in the future. My old 2nd refrigerator I used to use for that quit working. I like the manual defrost, it keeps a perfect 0 or below temp even at the medium freezer setting. Perfect for long term storage.

Everything about this experience deserves an A+![...]unit exactly as described... so far, it has met all my expectations and then some. Ice freezes very quickly and it fits perfectly on top of my mini-refrigerator! If I have future needs, I wouldn't hesitate to order from you again.

When ours was 10 months old it quit working. I explained to Avanti,the nearest repair shop was 61 miles away or 244 mi to take it & pick it up. They sent a service truck out twice.The freezer had a locked compressor.They sent a brand new one 2 weeks later.Very nice people, they solved the problem. No argument,no excuses. I'm impressed. JBR

It is very stylish, and quiet. The Energy notice states only $23/year to operate, that is great. I live in RV and plan to get 2 more of the same.
My current freezer would talke 2 days to only freeze ice on the "outside" of the cube, leaving the center still liquid. This freezer produced 2 trays of ice in about 2 hours. Wonderful.

I bought this freezer/refridgerator to replace the freezer that went out in my parent's camper. To buy a new rv refridgerator was too costly. This freezer fits perfectly on top of the refridgerator bought from Wal-Mart. This freezer keeps food frozen & will freeze ice fine. It is nice to have ice cream while camping also.

This gem of a mini freezer couldn't have arrived at a better time in this scorching heat wave + high humidity currently hitting Los Angeles. For its size, it fits the right amount of stuff (must know how to loosely pack the food in) and its size works well in my small kitchen. Functional and well designed.
