Great machine. Wish it was a little bigger, but it takes about 1/3 of a huge load of wet laundry and is about 95% better on electric usage by my calculations.

I love this machine - and will never be without one again. I am a person who does not like to dry my clother. Coming from the laundrymat it would take 24 hours to hang dry my clothes during the summer months and sometimes up to 3 days to completely hang dry my clothes in the winter. Using this spinner - a couple hours and everything is dry! I have used it for everything from delicates to bed sheets and jeans. You will not be disappointed if you make this purchase!
Some things I noticed: It is super quite. It expel a lot of water, so use a fairly large catch-bowl if you are going to spin a full load and expect to have to empty the bowl at least once during the cycle. It is somewhat challenging to get the load balanced...just be aware of how you put the clothes in and keep the weight balance - you should be okay. Tip the machine forward when you have finished your last load...there will be a little water left in the spout that will come out.

I bought this spin dryer last month from this website last month Oct. 2011 after I bought a "Wonderwash" earlier this month from this website.
After I received my Wonderwash, I found the wonderwash works so good and I can wash and clean most of my stuff with it. but there is one problem, it is hard to dry. then i go to internet to search spin dryer. then i found this one. As what it said, it can get rid of more than 90% WATER OUT of the wet cloth if you put the cloth in properly. no noise, very fast, very safe, no assembly needed, work very efficient,it can get more water out of the wet cloth than what i thought. very small. i live in california, after i take the cloth out of it , i just need to hang them in the room for a while the cloth will naturally dry. don't need to worry dripping water on the floor. not at all. so far use for two weeks for 5 times works very good. i live in a studio now. but can enjoy the most natural life in a studio this is an American Dream haha.... In the past 14 years , I live in single house, this is the first time i live in an apartment. This is a blessing , i used to use whiilpool washer and dryer, but never have chance let cloth natural dry. THIS SPIN DRYER REALLY HELP ME A LOT WITH MY LAUNDRY AND MAKE MY STUDIO LIFE FEELS GREAT AND ENJOYABLE. BACK TO NATURAL LIFE.

My Portable Spin Dryer
I had one of these before. I gave it to friend. Now that I have My Own Washing Machine, I wanted one of these again.
Follow the directions. Fold the laundry from the washer and put it in the drum. A Simple 4 way fold works well. Put heavy stuff on the bottom, lighter things on the top. Press the laundry down with the clothes protector. Close the lid, set the switch and plug it in.
Make Sure that you have a dishpan under the spout.
In about 5 minutes the centrifugal action will pull out another 2 quarts or so of water. I would not have believed it, but it does.
I took a cue from another reviewer here and after about 5 minutes or so I unplug the unit and let it slow down to a stop on its own volition. I hang my clothes in the bathroom shower and they are always practically dry. Usually shirts are dry by that night.
This unit holds a load of laundry from My Portable Haier. That is to say if you have a regular top-loading automatic, it is roughly ½ a load.
This is a Gem and a GRAET IDEA! Not only doess it remove extra water but I removes excess detergent as well. This one I think I will keep.

Please note that I have only used this product once so far.
We have a dryer but on sunny days we prefer to hang the clothes on the line. When i actually did use the spin dryer it was pouring rain so we had to use the gas dryer for most of the clothes. After putting the clothes through a spin cycle we only had to put each load in the dryer for 10 minutes. We hung a few peices on the line and within a half hour they were ready to be picked up.
So far i must say that i love this product, just hope it lasts. Other users complained about the size and the noise but i found that by properly placing the clothes in the dryer it can hold quite a bit and once they are properly balanced the noise level isn't a problem.
I don't normally write reviews but i thought I give an honest opinion for other people out there that may be thinking about purchasing this item. if it breaks sooner than later i will be sure to add an update.

the spin dryer is amazing. you have to fold your clothes to put them in so they are balanced otherwise spinning is not so good, and this thing is kind of small, but holds a good bit of clothes when folded. if used with the small portable haier washing machine it is perfect size. will spin out more than 20 ounces of water in about 2-3 minutes. having a small 110volt clothes dryer, this spin dryer saves lots of time and money. i recommend it for even those with a full size 220volt dryer.

I have been struggling with urine and oder from my incontinent Mother with Alzhiemers. I finally found a solution that effectively and permenately addresses this problem, but the solution is to expensive to wash down the drain. I had to find an alternative to hand wringing. The Compact Spin Dryer not only wrings the items practically dry but I can retrieve the very expensive deoderizer and use multiple times. This little spinner saves time and dollars and I LOVE IT!!

The Spin Dryer spins away both time and moisture. Mine spins out the moisture in my thick cotton bath towels so well that I now spin them in my big dryer for half the amout of time I was orginally spinning them.

I was pleasantly surprised after the first load. I did not expect much but this little machine sure delivered. I put in some clothes and it spins so fast that they were nearly dry. I did not expect it to work so well. Two things that might be of interest. First, I had to wash the inside of the stainless steel drum before I used it because it had some sort of residue. Second, get a bigger bucket for the water. It extract more water than I expected. The one negative is the braking system. It is terrible. I thought the machine was going to rip apart the first time I turned the handle to off. Now I unplug the machine and let it slow down a bit then I slowly engage the brake, then release it and renegage it again slowly. It seems to make less grinding noise and hopefully will make the machine last longer. It is a great appliance, Good Luck.

We bought this and the 110 volt dryer to be part of our conversion to solar. I use the spin dryer when I can't hang clothes outside and don't want to use my dryer a lot. Even after the fast spin on my washer, the spin dryer still extracts water and my clothes dry faster inside.

I live in a small apartment and was sick of laundry mats. This device is wonderful. I use it in conjunction with a breather washer (which looks like a toilet plunger and works great) and an Easy Dry portable clothes drier. Most of the time I can just hang the clothes on a clothes rack behind a fan and don't even need the Easy Dry drier. Clothes come out of the spinner nearly dry! Between the breather washer and this, my clothes are actually much cleaner than laundry mat washers and I save time and money. Love it!
(Tip- unplug it and let it slow down before opening it so as not to stress braking mechanism)

Everything works fine. Aside from the fact that this dryer does not completely dry clothes, and emits a scent reminiscent of burning rubber, there is nothing wrong with it.

I have to say that this product has revolutionized laundry for me since I got it two weeks ago. I received this in excellent, sturdy packaging. The directions were simple and unpacking was a breeze. I hooked it up to a 110 V outlet by my washing machine, placed a 1L container underneath the spout, and tried it out. Perfect! I did the load at 9 pm, hung it up inside, and it was dry by morning! I imagine that in the summer, I will be able to do more than one load a day (due to limited hanging space)! Normally air-drying a load of laundry takes 3 days inside and 8 hours outside.
My only complaints regarding this machine are that its braking system is really loud/high pitched and its capacity is somewhat small. It does about 1/2 a full load in my washing machine. Yesterday I washed our queen-size comforter and really struggled to fit it into the Spin Dryer.
