Re. previous reviewer "unable to operate range and oven at the same time."
The reason for this is, 120 volt AC power is limited to a maximum of 1500 watts at the wall socket for fire safety reasons based on the type of wiring used in houses. Thus you can operate one burner at 500 watts and one at 1000 watts, or the oven function at 1500 watts, or whatever combination the manufacturer provides.
The fact that this unit runs at a maximum of 1250 watts gives it some safety margin, which is a good thing.
The ability to heat rapidly is a function of wattage also. Thus if you're used to a stove that is connected to 240 volt power (maximum 3000 watts), you can have higher-wattage burners that heat more rapidly than is possible in any 120-volt unit.
Units of this type (combined convection oven & burners) are ideal for sustainable construction, where houses are smaller and more intelligent use of space is needed than in "monster homes." If convection ovens perform as claimed, providing faster cooking at lower temperatures, they also offer excellent potential for energy savings compared to conventional ovens (though microwaves would be still more efficient for certain appllications).
Generally, in terms of energy consumption, "temperature is expensive," i.e. heating & cooling uses lots of energy. Thus, any potential for improved efficiency in these areas is a major plus.

It does the job.

While we've had this oven only a short time, the one thing we weren't prepared for it the time it takes to boil water (about 20 minutes) or for the oven to heat up (about 20 minutes). The other quirk is that you can't use the range and oven at the same time. Other than that, it looks great and is compact and easy to handle and use.
