Love the benefits, Hate the durability

Pros: Easy to clean, Lots of Space, Easy to Start, Even Heat
Cons: Not Durable
I bought the Total Chef Oven in November. Last week the screws that holds the heating unit together became loose and my boyfriend and I tried to maintain it as well as possible. Today 3 screws came out of the heating unit while in use. I really appreciate the benefits of this product and would like to continue, but not if I'm going to have to replace it every 3 months.

Pros: Easy to see foods
Cons: Poor instructions for use, Not Durable, Uneven Heat
The unit arrived with cracks in the plastic dome. Compact Appliance promptly mailed me a replacement dome. I found the unit cooked unevenly. Meats were crisp, even charred on the top before the bottom was cooked. Breads browned unevenly, and the bottom remained near raw. The unit shorted out after three months of use, and I'm trying to find out how to fix it. Foods did not cook as quickly as promoted, and setting time and temperature was not precise as the dials were small and poorly marked.

Cons: Hood cracks from use
The hood cracked after using it 4 times. Koolatron was good enough to send a replacement hood free of charge, as long as it is within 1 year from purchase date. **HOWEVER** in a little less that two years, the infrared bulbs stopped working on mine, and the Koolatron offered to SELL me a new top for [$]plus [...]! I've used this appliance just to roast peppers, and grill burgers less than 20 times. In my estimation, it's not worth it. I enjoyed it while it worked, but not if I have to spend [$]to replace the bulbs...not to mention the hood when it cracks from heat!
